KEVIN MULLANI is a publisher, bestselling ghostwriter, nonfiction book-coach, and closet digital marketer who is bridging the gap between modern entrepreneurs and the publishing industry. He is constantly learning from the top leaders in publishing, marketing, and high performance to ensure he can pass on the best coaching to his clients.
Kevin started his professional life as an F-15E Weapons Systems Officer (think Goose in Top Gun) in the U.S. Air Force. He excelled as an aviator and quickly became an instructor and tactical leader within the fighter community. Leaders chose him to attend the Fighter Weapons School (Air Force version of Top Gun) where he graduated to establish himself as one of the top 3% of fighter aviators, and the top 1% of officers in the Air Force. He has flown combat missions over Iraq, Afghanistan, and peace keeping missions over South Korea, earning him several prestigious decorations including 2 distinguished flying crosses.
Shortly after getting out of the Air Force, the unexpected passing of Kevin’s youngest son, Ethan Tru, prompted him to start a publishing company as a way to help others pass on their wisdom through books. Growing his company from scratch, his service has always been based in integrity and centered around producing the highest quality books for his clients. Since founding Tru Publishing in 2012, he has helped countless authors to write and publish books, leaving legacies of their own. He transitioned Tru Publishing to Innovator Press, a publishing company that focuses solely on solution-based, nonfiction books in 2020.

Kevin has also created digital training programs based on the time-tested processes he found to be most successful in his own businesses. His introductory program, Blue Ocean Positioning for Authors, is focused on teaching people the most important elements they need to know before writing a book. Expert Book Formula is his flagship program designed to help authors properly structure and write a wildly successful nonfiction book. And, his latest framework teaches business owners, experts, and entrepreneurs how to write a profitable “pocket guide,” which is a short book designed specifically for leads, revenue, and audience warming.
Kevin is a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association and the Nonfiction Authors Association, and currently lives in Boise, Idaho with his wife and two children.
